The following services are available under the direction of a patient’s physician:

Skilled Nursing

  • Assessing vital signs and patient’s general condition
  • Obtaining venipuncture blood specimens for lab test(if qualify for other skilled services)
  • Diet instruction
  • Wound care/dressing changes
  • Filling insulin syringes/monitoring diabetes
  • Colostomy care
  • Teaching client or caregiver patient care
  • Assessing post surgical patients
  • Instructions on feeding tubes/naso-gastric tube feedings
  • Supervising medication use and effectiveness
  • Urinary catheter care
  • Administration of injections

Physical Therapy

  • Evaluation of patient
  • Therapeutic exercises, active and passive
  • Transfer training
  • TENS
  • Prosthetic training
  • Teach Home Exercise Program
  • General strengthening
  • Home safety instruction

Speech Therapy

  • Evaluation
  • Voice disorder treatments
  • Speech articulation disorder treatments
  • Dysphagia treatment
  • Non oral communication

Occupational Therapy

  • Fine motor skills training
  • Home exercise program
  • ADL training
  • Teaching use of adaptive equipment

Home Health Aide (Must qualify for skilled nursing or therapy before you can qualify for aide services)

  • Personal hygiene-shower, tub, bed bath, shampoo, shaving
  • Assist with ambulation and transfers
  • Provide catheter cleanliness
