Dr. Beth Bigham, M.D. Beth A. Bigham, MD, has been in practice in Pinckneyville since 1990. She graduated from the University of Illinois College of Medicine-Rockford campus in 1987, and Deaconess Hospital, Inc. Family Medicine Residency Program, Evansville, IN, in 1990. She is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and practices full service Family Medicine, with special interest in Women’s Health and Pediatric/Adolescent Medicine. She has also mentored 1st-year medical students from the SIU School of Medicine since 2011. Dr. Bigham was appointed to the Perry County Board of Health in 1999 and has served the county since that time.
Dr. Andrew Forbes, M.D. Dr. Andrew Forbes grew up in central Illinois. After college he went to graduate school for chemistry. After graduate school he went to medical school to be come a physician. He finished the MD program at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in 2011. He completed his medical residency at Indiana University, training in a combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics program at several hospitals in Indianapolis, including Riley Children’s Hospital. He is committed to primary care for people of all ages, from birth through geriatrics. He now lives in Pinckneyville, IL with his wife and three sons. He works at Pinckneyville Community Hospital as an attending physician. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing games of all sorts (board games, sports, computer games), and being active in his local church.

Miles Priebe – My name is Miles Priebe and I have a wife, Kayla, and three children. My son, Easton, is three years old, and I also have twin daughters, Anniston and Adaline, who are almost two years old. My wife and I have lived in Pinckneyville our whole lives and really enjoying living in our community as adults and raising a family here. In my free time, I enjoy golfing, playing outside with my family, and watching movies. I work at Pinckneyville Community Hospital as a Family Nurse Practitioner Hospitalist, which I’ve been doing for the past three years. I attended Maryville University in St. Louis to obtain my Master’s Degree in Nursing and graduated in 2016.

Sherry Wertz, R.N., M.S.N., – I am a Clinical Informatics Nurse at Marshall I am a Clinical Informatics Nurse at Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin, IL. I graduated from Du Quoin High School in 1986 and received my Associate degree at John A Logan College in 1989. I returned to school and received my BSN degree at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville in 2004 and my MSN degree from Walden University in 2012. I have been employed at Marshall Browning Hospital for 23 years working in many capacity’s including Medical/Surgical Nursing, Emergency Nursing and Nursing Administration. I am active in Disaster Preparedness and volunteer with the Du Quoin Emergency Services and Disaster Agency (ESDA) and am Vice-Chairperson for the Perry County Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC). I have lived in Du Quoin my whole life and reside there with my husband Pete Wertz. My free time is spent with my husband, daughter Jennifer and 3 year old grandson Jaxon.
